Rental Terms and Conditions - AM Rent car rental

1. Documents and Driver Requirements

Age: Minimum 19 years.
Driving experience: Minimum 1 year.
Documents: Valid driving licence (foreign licences are valid in Estonia), ID card or passport.
Payment method: Valid credit or debit card.

2. Booking and Vehicle Handover

Default pickup address: Suur-Paala tn 1, 13619 Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia. Weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00.
Car delivery within 58 minutes: If less than 58 minutes remain before the start of the rental, availability of a specific vehicle class and on-time delivery are not guaranteed without phone confirmation at +372 5022234.
We hold the booking for 2 hours from the scheduled time. If the client does not show up and does not notify us, the booking is cancelled without a refund of the prepayment.

3. Payment and Security Deposit

Payment methods: Cash, card (mobile terminal), or bank transfer. Payment is made in advance for the entire rental period.
Deposit: The deposit is blocked on the card and returned within 1–5 business days after the vehicle inspection.
Note: AMRent OÜ reserves the right to request an increased deposit in certain cases, with prior notice to the client.

4. Prepayment

A prepayment of 20% is required when booking.
If the booking is made more than 48 hours before the start of the rental, the prepayment is refunded in full.
Urgent booking (car delivery within 58 minutes): When ordering the service “car delivery within 58 minutes” or cancelling less than 48 hours before the start of the rental, the 20% prepayment is non-refundable (treated as a contractual penalty), as the company immediately begins vehicle preparation and logistics.

5. Insurance and Liability (Damage)

We work transparently: the condition of the vehicle is recorded with photos at the time of handover.

Basic insurance: Includes mandatory insurance. In case of theft, liability is 15% of the vehicle value (provided that keys and documents are available).
Liability reduction: For an additional fee, you can reduce your liability in case of an accident or damage (scratches, etc.) to 190, 65, or 0 EUR.

– call the police if necessary.

6. Mileage and Use

Geography: Travel outside Estonia is allowed only with written consent from AMRent OÜ.
Limits: 400 km per day, but not more than 3000 km per month (thereafter 0.12 €/km).
Fuel: “Full/Full” policy.
Cleanliness: Exterior washing is included in the price. In case of heavy interior soiling, a fee for deep cleaning may be charged.

7. Other Terms

In case of discrepancies, the signed rental agreement shall prevail.

AMRent OÜ reserves the right to refuse to provide rental services without explanation.
